  • Ch 14, or any multiple of 4 + 2.
  • Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 5, sk next 3 chs, sc in next ch; rep from * across. Turn. [3 ch-5 sps]

  • Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), sc in ch-5 sp, *ch 3, sc in next sp; rep from * across to last st; ch 1, dc in last sc st. Turn. [2 ch-1 sps and 2 ch-3 sps]
  • Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, sc into first ch-1 sp, sc in next sc, *3 sc into ch-3 sp, sc in next sc; rep from * across to last ch sp; sc in ch-sp, sc in last dc (3rd ch) Turn. [13 sts]
