Here is a pretty spring inspired headband pattern for you to enjoy. The headband can be made to fit any head size. I used sport weight yarn in 4 colors and 3.5 mm hook. You can use any yarn and a suitable hook.

The pattern is written using American terms.

Abbreviations used: ch — chain, sl st — slip stitch, sc — single crochet, hdc — half double crochet, dc — double crochet, ch-sp — chain space

cluster — 2 dc stitches worked together in same space.

Instruction

Headband

Row 1: Using green ch 5, cluster in last ch from hook. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 5, cluster in top of cluster. Turn.

Repeat row 2 until you have reached the desired length. Fasten off yarn. You can either sew the ends together or sew a button to one end. Weave in the loose ends.

Flower

Round 1: Using yellow, make a magic ring (or) ch 2 and 8 sc in 2nd ch. Join with a sl st to 1st sc. Fasten off.

Round 2: Join red in any sc and sc in same sc, [ch 5, sc in next sc] 8 times.

Round 3: [sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc] in each 5ch-sp. Fasten off.
