Ch 1, then work single crochet (sc) evenly around the edge until you reach the next ear. Stop crocheting along the edge at the first sc of Row 31.

Cut the yarn and weave in ends. Make 2 faces this way (one for the front and one for the back).

Sew The Front and Back Together

Take the two sides of the bag we just made and place them together with the right sides facing each other (wrong sides facing out). Using a yarn needle, sew the edges together by working through the outer loops of the stitches on each piece. Start at the first stitch immediately after the left hole (for the drawstring strap) and continue around the edges, to the first hole on the right side. Essentially, you’ll sew from one “ear” of the bag to the other one, leaving the top middle section open for the crochet cat pouch bag’s opening.

Once you’ve finished sewing, weave in all the loose ends, then turn the bag right-side out.

The Drawstring Strap – Crochet Cat Pouch

Take your pink DK-weight yarn and a 4 mm hook. Using the chainless single crochet (sc) technique, create a strap that is 55 cm long.

Insert one end of the strap through the holes, weaving it in a zigzag pattern. This will allow the bag’s opening to tighten and close when the strap is pulled. Once the other end of the strap reaches the front, sew both ends together to secure the strap. Now pull the strap to transform the crochet cat pouch into a cute cat’s head shape.

Sakura Flower – Crochet Cat Pouch

Grab your 2,5 mm crochet hook and Pink yarn sport weight.

Make a magic circle.

Round 1: 5 sc (5)

Round 2: {(ch 2, 1tr, 1 hdc, 1 tr, ch 2, sl st) in the same stitch, sl st in the next stitch} repeat this 5 times.

Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Make a total of 5 flowers. With the embroidery floss, thread some lines in the center of the flower to make the stamens.

Sew the flowers to the front of the bag in a layout you love.
