- 1 clip — 2/4 inch
- 1 button — 1 inch
- Yarn Needle
- Hook: H / 5.00 MM
- Yarn: Worsted Weight (4) — Cotton or Acrylic
Stitches:
- Chain ( ch)
- Single Crochet (sc)
- Half Double Crochet ( hdc)
Size: 5 inches X 5 inches around
Pattern:
Ch 1 does not count as a st, it is a turning chain.
R: 1 — Ch 15, 1 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook, and in each ch across.
ch1, turn (14 hdc)
R: 2 — 1 hdc in each st, ch 1, turn (14 hdc)
R: 3 — R: 13 — Repeat R: 2
R: 14 — Sc evenly around the 4 sides,
stitch 3 sc in each corner, join and tie off
Cut a piece of yarn about 18 inches long.
Thread the yarn in the needle
and stitch up the right side,
gathering the side up and secure tightly.
Repeat on the left side, as well. Then flip right side out.
With Needle and yarn whip Stitch the ring to the right end of the bag, then clip on the clip.
Button Loop:
Attach yarn to the center top of the bag opening, ch 5,
attach to the next st making a loop, with a sl st. tie off.
Sew on the button and slip to loop over the button.
