OK so lets start, all you need is wool, suitable hook and buttons to decorate (optional). The stitches used are double crochet (dc) and slip stitch (slst). Pattern is very simple. I am making these shoes for 6-12 months or below baby.
Pattern:
**Ch2 here is not counted as stitch.
Make two.
1) In magic circle, ch2, work 8dc in circle, pull the end to close the circle. Slst to first dc to join the circle.
2) ch2, 2dc in same stitch and in each of next st [16 sts]
3) ch2, 1dc in each st around and join with slst.
If you are making shoes for older baby, instead of 1dc in each st, work (2dc in next st, 1dc in next st) and repeat all around. Continue with round 3 from next round.
4) repeat round 3
If you wish to repeat this round one more time then you can do it, I am doing just 4 rounds.
5) ch2, 1dc in 12 stitches (leave 4 stitches unworked). This will be the opening for the baby feet.
6) ch2, turn, 1dc in 12 stitches
7-8) repeat round 6
9) fold the edges inside out the sew them to close the heel part of the shoes.
10) Decorate it with fancy buttons
It’s done! Wasn’t that quick and easy!!
