Materials Needed:

  • 3.75 mm crochet hook
  • Measuring tape

Getting Started:

Magic Circle: Create a magic circle.

Chain: Chain two (does not count as a stitch).

Medium Width (Adjustments for Narrow/Wide are Mentioned):

Round 1: 11 double crochets into the circle.

Slip stitch to join at the top of the first double crochet.

Round 1 total: 11 stitches.

Round 2: Chain two, then two double crochets in each stitch around.

Slip stitch to join.

Round 2 total: 22 stitches.

Round 3: Chain two, one double crochet in the first stitch, two in the next; repeat around.

Slip stitch to join.

Round 3 total: 33 stitches.

Round 4: Chain two, one double crochet in each stitch around.

Slip stitch to join.

Round 4 total: 33 stitches.

Rounds 5 & 6: Repeat Round 4.

Adjust Toe Size: At this point, adjust the toe by adding or subtracting rows if needed.

Main Pattern (Same for All Widths):

Step 1: Chain two, then 16 double crochets.

Step 2: Chain one, slip stitch into the next stitch.

Step 3: Create eight loops by chaining three, skipping one stitch, and slip stitching into the next.

Step 4: Chain one, slip stitch to the top of the first double crochet.

Step 5: Chain two, 16 double crochets.

Step 6: Chain two, slip stitch into the first loop.

Step 7: Create seven loops.

Step 8: Chain two, slip stitch to join.

Continue Pattern: Repeat, decreasing the loop count by one each round and increasing the chain count on the sides, until you have one loop left.


Heel and Finishing:

Increase Rounds: Increase stitches for heel shaping.


Shape Heel: Decrease stitches to shape the heel.


Top Edge: Single crochet around the top edge of the slipper.


Close Heel: Use a darning needle to close the heel seam.
