Moss Stitch

US Terms

Chain an even number of chains. I chained 20 in this tutorial.

Row 1: SC in 4th Ch from hook, *Ch 1, Sk 1 Ch, SC in next Ch, Repeat from * across, ending with SC in last ch, Turn.

Row 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a stitch), SC into first Ch 1 sp, *Ch 1, SC in next Ch 1 sp, repeat from * across, ending with SC in last Ch sp (see video tutorial for visual instructions)

Row 3: Ch up 3, DC in first 3 sts, *FPDC on next, DC in next 2 sts, repeat from * across, ending with DC in last 4 sts. Turn.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for however long you want your piece to be.
