Part 2: Assemble the Star

Second Panel:

Repeat making a second star panel.

Do not finish off the last point.

Add the Eyes:

Place the 12 mm safety eyes on the first panel, where you prefer the eyes to be (preferably a bit lower).

Secure the eyes with the backs.

Join Panels:

Hold the panels together with right sides (front side) facing out.

Join the yarn and single crochet around the edges working through both panels.

Crocheting Around Edges:

At each point tip, work 2 single crochets for a rounded finish.

Single crochet evenly around, about 5 single crochets down each side of the star's points.

Continue until about ¾ of the star is joined.

Stuffing:

Insert fiber fill evenly into each of the star points.

Stuff the middle section ensuring it's all evenly distributed.

Finish Joining:

Continue to crochet around.

Close the final opening completely and make the final increase at the last tip.

Finish Off:

Slip stitch the final join.

Cut and weave in all ends neatly at the back side of your star.
