An equivalent yarn would be an Aran weight yarn

TENSION – 4tr and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch
UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in Multiples of 6 + 1
With colour 1, make 235ch loosely, (RS) work 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (232tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * bpdtr (see abbrev) around next tr, 1tr into each of next 5tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3tch, bpdtr around next tr, 1tr into next tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
3rd Row – 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * fpdtr (see abbrev) around next dtr, 1tr into each of next 5tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3tch, fpdtr around next dtr, 1tr into next tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
4th Row – 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * bpdtr around next dtr, 1tr into each of next 5tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3tch, bpdtr around next dtr, 1tr into next tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. Fasten off.
Join in colour 2 and rpt 3rd & 4th Rows once. Fasten off.
