- Medium weight (size 4) cotton yarn, I used Lily Sugar’n Cream in 4 colors (1 2 oz. skein each)

- 1″ keychain rings (2)

Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from the hk and each ch down until the end ch. Sc 5 in the end ch. Sc back down the other side of the foundation ch until the last st. Sc 5 in the last st, sl st in first st to join (28).
Rounds 2-3: Ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st to join (28).
Round 4: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (28).
Round 5: Switch to hot pink yarn, ch 2, hdc in the 3rd loop only in each st around, sl st to join (28).
Rounds 6-7: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (28).
