- Use a stitch marker or a scrap piece of yarn to mark the beginning of each round.
- All stitches are worked into both loops unless stated otherwise.
- Amigurumi can be made in any desired colors.
Seamless way of changing color when working in the round:
Pick up the new color at the end of the round: insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over with the new color and pull through the stitch and the loop on your hook to complete the stitch.

SHIFT STITCH
When working spiral amigurumi, the piece can twist to the right. To keep the work symmetrical, use a shift stitch periodically: work one extra stitch at the end of a round and move the marker forward one stitch so the second stitch becomes the first. This does not change your stitch count.
To decide when to use a shift stitch, fold the work in half to check symmetry or use a yarn to mark a straight line.
