Finished blanket measures about 29 by 30 inches.

You can easily increase the size of this blanket by adding more foundation double crochet stitches in your first row – just keep your number of stitches an even number – and/or by adding more rows to your blanket.

I’ve found that Red Heart Super Saver yarn can feel a bit rough. But if you wash your items on delicate with some fabric softener, dry on delicate for about 10 minutes with a fabric sheet, and then lay it flat to finish drying your project will become much softer.

This pattern would look so great in a solid color. A pretty variegated yarn would also work.
