Adding Wire to your crochet summer hat

Measure the circumference of Brim, add 4”

Cut out the wire of this similar length.
(Ex. Hat circumference of 39” + 4” =43” of wire.
Round 31: Ch 1, working over Wire, sc in each around, with 15 sts
to complete, join ends of Wire by twisting, use Tape to secure ends to prevent wires from sticking out, cut any excess Wire, sc in last 15, join -135 (144, 162, 180) sc.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
