Materials:

Worsted Weight Cotton yarn in a Frosting Color and a Cookie Color.
(Bits of different colors if you want to add sprinkles)

Size G hook (4.25mm)

Yarn needle (To weave in ends)

Finish Size: About 8” inches Round

Note: Ch2 does not count as dc, do not join into it.

Directions:

Rnd 1: With Frosting Color ch5, join with sl st to first chain to form ring, ch2, 12 dc in ring, join with sl st to first dc.
(12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch2, 2 dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in each of the next 11 sts, join with sl st to first dc.
(24dc)

Rnd 3: Ch2, 1 dc in each st as joining, 2 dc in next st, [1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st] Do this 11 times, join with sl st to first dc.
(36dc)

Rnd 4: Ch1, 1 sc in same st as joining, skip next st, 5 dc in next st, [skip next st, 1 sc in next st, skip next st, 5 dc in next st] Do this 8 times, skip next st, join with sl st to first sc.
(45dc, 9sc)

Fasten off Frosting Color.

Rnd 5: Join Cookie Color with sl st to back loop only of any sc, ch2, 2 dc in same back loop, 1 dc in back loop only of next st, 1 hdc in back loop only of next st, 2 sc in back loop only of next st, 1 hdc in back loop only of next st, 1 dc in back loop only of next st, [2 dc in back loop only of next st, 1 dc in back loop only of next st, 1 hdc in back loop only of next st, 2 sc in back loop only of next st, 1 hdc in back loop only of next st, 1 dc in back loop only of next st] Do this 8 times, join with sl st to first dc.
(36dc, 18 hdc, 18sc) (72sts total)

Note: If you have a problem with cupping; work an increase in every 9th st for Rnds 6 or 7.

Rnd 6: Ch2, 1 dc in same st as joining, 1 dc in each of the next 71 sts, join with sl st to first dc.

Rnd 7: Ch1, 1 sc in same st as joining, 1 sc in each of the next 71 sts, join with sl st to first sc.
(72sc)

Finish off and weave in ends.

For sprinkles I used scraps (bits) of different colored yarn and tie/knot them onto the cookie.
