- Ch1 Does Not Count as st.
- Ch3 Counts as a dc
Pattern:
R: 1 – Ch 17, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in each ch across,
turn ch3. (16 sc)
R: 2 – 1 dc in the next dc,
*sk the next sc, 1 dc in the next 2 dc,
Cross back in front and tr in the sk st.*
Repeat 3 more times, 1 dc in the last 2 sc, turn, ch 1
(4 dc, 4 cross sts)
R: 3 – 1 sc in each st across, turn, ch 3

R: 4 — 1 dc in the next dc,
*sk the next sc, 1 dc in the next 2 dc,
