Pattern:

Work in the round, without turning or closing the rounds.

Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the beginning of each round.

The number at the end of each round is the number of stitch counts.

The pattern written between ** is that pattern that needs to be repeated.

With pink yarn and a 3mm crochet hook, create a magic ring

Round 1: 5sc into the magic ring, pull the tail of the magic ring to close it = 5

Round 2: sc in each stitch = 5

Round 3: inc x 6 = 10

Change colors to red

Round 4: *in next stitch work (sc, esc, sc), sl st in next stitch* x 5, sl st in the first stitch in the round to close the round, fasten off = 24

Weave in the red yarn ends. You can weave in the pink yarn ends as well or you can thread them through the bottom of the flower and make a knot. You can use them to tie the flower to your project.
