Crochet Carnation Fridgie

Materials:

Small amount of Lustersheen, any color, and green

Size «D» Hook

Magnet

Glue Gun

Ch 4 and join with sl st in 1st ch to form ring

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (count as 1st dc now and throughout) dc in ring 5 more times, join with sl st to top of beg ch 3.

Rnd 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in front loop of same st, *3 dc in front loop of next dc. Repeat * around. Join with sl st to top of beg ch 3.

Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st. * 3 dc in each dc. Join with sl st in top of ch 3.

Rnd 4: Ch 1 sc in same st. *Sc in each st around. Join with sl st to beg sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Leaf:

Using green, join with sl st in the back loop of Rnd 2, *ch12 *sl st in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, tr in rest of chs, sc in back loop of next st.* Repeat from * to*, join with sl st to first sl st. (3 leaves) Fasten off and weave in ends.

Thread a tapestry needle with yarn used to make flower and run thread through the base of the second round to gather flower. Draw up thread, and tighten. Tie a knot securely, fasten off and weave in ends.

Glue magnet to back.
