In Step 3 of the second round, chain 4 instead of 3.

In Step 3 of the third round, chain 5 instead of 4.


For Step 6: Final Round

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 ten times.

In the last chain, work one double crochet, then chain 5.

Slip stitch and then chain 3.

Join with a slip stitch to the last chain.


Step 7: Finish the Flower

Wrap the yarn around the stem to complete the flower.

Leaves

Step 1: Start with Green Yarn

Switch to green yarn and make a slip knot, then chain 5.


Step 2: First Leaf

Begin in the second chain from the hook and work one single crochet.

Work one single crochet in each chain until you have 4 single crochets.


For Step 3: Create More Leaves

Repeat Step 2 four more times to create a total of five leaves.


Step 4: Second Group of Leaves

Make another five leaves, starting with a chain of 6.
