- Yarn- Cotton Yarn, But WW(4) will work also, about 2 oz, total
- Red — C1, White -C2, Blue — C3, Gold- C4
- Yarn Needle
- Jar – 16oz. Canning Jar
Stitches:
- Chain (ch)
- Slip Stitch (slst)
- Single Crochet (sc)
- Double Crochet (dc)
- Back Loop Only (BLO)
- Change To (chgto)
Size: fits a 16 oz. Canning jay (about 5 inches tall)
Notes:
- Rounds are joined with a Slip Stitch
- Ch after the color change
- Ch 3 Counts as a Double crochet
Pattern :
R: 1 – With C1, Ch5, join in a circle. Ch3, 11 dc in the circle, join, Ch 3. (12 dc)
R: 2 –Dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc around, join, Ch1. (24dc)
R: 3 – 1 sc in each dc around, join, ch 3. (24sc)
R: 4 – BLO, 1 dc in each sc around, join. (24dc)
R: 5 – Chgto C2, ch 3, 1 dc in each dc around, join. (24dc)
R: 6 – Chgto C1, ch 3, 1 dc in each dc around, join. (24dc)

Stars: Make 3
Thread 18 inches of C2 onto a needle.
Embroider 3 lines crossed to form the starts.
Tie off to the inside of the cozie.
And Slide it onto the jar.
To make the hole in the lid for the straw, mark the center
of the lid with a marker.
Then place a Phillips Screw Driver on the mark,
and hammer gently till the hole is made.
Rub the screw Driver around the edges of the hole to make it large enough for the straw.
