Feet (make 2)
With light yellow yarn:
The feet are worked in 3 steps, each step is a toe, do not turn or cut your yarn inbetween steps.

Step 2: ch 3, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 2 sl st,
Step 3: ch 3, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 2 sl st, then in the remaining 2 chains from the first step: 1 sc, 1 sl st.

Hair
With black yarn:
This is worked in the same way as the feet.
Step 1: ch 4, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 3 sl st
Step 2: ch 4, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 3 sl st
Step 3: ch 4, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 3 sl st, finish the hair by making 1 sl st in the first ch from Step 1 (this connects the base of the hair).
Leave a tail for sewing to the head.
Assembly
- Stuff the body and the head, sew the head to the body using the tail from the body.
- Sew the arms onto R 10 of the body, on either side of the body. See the photo for reference. Angle the arms up so they touch the face.
- Sew the feet to the bottom of the body on either side of round with the toes facing forward.
- Fold the beak in half and sew on R 11 and R 12 of the head in the middle of the eyes.
- Sew the hair on the very top of the head on R 1.
