Crochet Puff Flower

Yarn: You can use any yarn you like — for this project is great to use up scrap yarns!

Small amounts of any worsted weight yarn – I used up Spagoyarn Cottonel for this pattern (You could certainly make these flowers with another color as well)

For this pattern you will need 4.00 or 3.5 or 3.0 mm crochet hooks.

Difficulty Level: Level 1 – Easy, for beginners

US crochet term:
SlSt – slip stitch
CH/s – chain/s
TR — tripple crochet
SC — single crochet
SK — skip
T — turn
ST/s — stitch(es)
REP — repeat

PUFF FLOWER pattern
Make a magic ring
R1: ch1, *1sc, ch1, 1sc* repeat 6 times, sl st to close round and tie off.
You will have 6 ch1 spaces and 2sc between them

Attach your chosen petal colour

R2 NOTE: Each petal will be worked in ch1sp

R2: work 6 tr cluster in each ch1sp:

*ch3 (1tr), 5tr into the same ch1 sp, sl st in the same ch1sp, sl st in next ch1sp* repeat from * to * 6 times

5tr cluster instruction:
*yarn over twice and insert hook into the same ch1 space, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over and pull through two loops*
Repeat from * to * the instructions 5 times.
6 loops on hook.
Yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook. Ch3, sl st into the same ch1sp, sl st in next ch1sp **

Repeat pattern from ** to ** until you have 6 petals. sl st into chain space of the first petal to close round and tie off.

End off yarn, weave in all ends.

Arrange the flowers in a way that makes you happy and hand sew them to your lovely project.
