H hook and WW Cotton yarn. Coaster measures about 4” side to side.

Rnd 1: Ch4, work 11DC in 4th ch from hook. Join in 3rd ch of beg ch4. (12dc)

Rnd 3: Ch1, SC in joining. SC in 2dc. [+Ch2, DC in 3dc, Ch2,+ SC in 3dc] 3Xs. Repeat +to+ once & join to first sc. (12sc, 12dc, 8ch2)

Rnd 4: Ch1, SC in joining. SC in 2sc. [+Ch2, DC in 3dc, Ch2,+ SC in 3sc] 3Xs. Repeat +to+ once & join. (12sc, 12dc, 8ch2)

Rnd 5: Ch1, SC in joining. SC in 2sc & into ch2sp. [+Ch2, 2DC in dc, DC in next dc, 2DC in dc, Ch2.+ SC in ch2sp, SC in 3sts, SC in ch2sp] 3Xs. Repeat +to+ once. SC in last sp & join. (20sc, 20dc, 8ch2sps)
