Pattern Instructions

Note:

This cosy will fit a mug that is perfectly cylindrical with a top circumference that is equal to the base circumference.

Beg Sl St, beg Ch 1/Ch 2 and fin Sl St do not count as a st for st count purposes.

If changing colours each round, join new colour directly into any Ch 3 Sp corner and omit instruction to Sl St into first Ch 3 Sp.

All st in ( ) will be made in the one/same st or ch sp from the previous round.

St in { } will be repeated the number of times specified by the pattern instructions.

# indicates where a { } repeat will be finished for the last repeat.

A st count follows each round on a separate line in ( ).

If joining squares by any method other than JAYG (i.e. by sewing or crocheting fully made squares together), make three squares as per Square A instructions, then join the squares as per Join Squares instruction.

If joining squares by JAYG, make two squares as per Square A and the third square as per Square B instructions. Skip the Join Squares instruction as the Square B instructions will directly join the third square to the first and second squares, while the third square is being constructed.
