Crochet Two-Tone Shrug

Create a stylish and trendy shrug using the crochet technique with two different colors. This project allows you to showcase your creativity by combining contrasting or complementary shades to make a unique and eye-catching garment. The two-tone design adds depth and visual interest to the shrug, making it a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crocheter, this project is a fun and rewarding way to expand your skills and create a fashionable accessory for your wardrobe.

Skill Level: Easy

Required Supplies:

RED HEART Mystic: 1 Ball each 103 Foam A and 660 Avocado B (Mystic is discontinued.)

Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8]

Yarn needle.

Of course, you can crochet this in just one color, but using two tones gives this shrug a bit of drama. Wear it in the summer over a tank top or sleeveless dress and over long sleeves in the winter.

Gauge/Tension: GAUGE: 14 dc = 4″; 8 rows = 4″. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Directions are for size Small/Medium; changes for sizes Large/X-Large are in parentheses.

Finished Measurements

Cuff to Cuff: 34 (38)”.

Length from Shoulder: 8 (11)”

NOTE: Shrug is worked from Front shoulder down to lower edge then up to Back shoulder. Shoulders are joined with slip stitches.
