Pattern Notes:

Lily yarn is a great budget-friendly option, but you can use any medium-weight cotton yarn you like. I prefer 100% cotton, but you can use cotton/acrylic blends too.

If you do decide to substitute for a different yarn, you might want to check your gauge to make sure your baskets come out the right size.

Sizing:

Medium Size – 6.5″ diameter

Small Size – 4.5″ diameter

The height of the baskets will vary a bit depending on how far you fold the top down.

Gauge: First 5 rounds = 4.5″ diameter

Gauge isn’t super important for this pattern, but checking your gauge is a good habit to get into. To check your gauge, crochet the first five rounds and measure the diameter.
