  • Yarn needle

Scarf Base (Gray Yarn)

Make a slip knot.

Chain 22.

Row 1: Skip 3 chains, make 2 double crochets in the same chain, then (skip 2 chains, 3 double crochets in the same chain) repeat this 6 times.

Row 2: Chain 3 and turn. Make 3 double crochets in the same space 6 times, then 1 double crochet at the end.

Row 3: Chain 3 and turn. Make 2 double crochets, then (3 double crochets in the same space) repeat 6 times.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until desired length is achieved.

Adding the Border (White Yarn)

Attach the white yarn with a slip stitch.

Work single crochet stitches all around the edge of the scarf.

When reaching a corner, chain 2 to create a corner space.

Continue single crocheting along the next side.

Repeat for all four sides.
